Kindred Hospital South Florida - Hollywood

My stay at Kindred was very good. I felt like going from Motel 6 to the Ritz Hotel....My needs were attended to promptly and the staff was great. Wound care was on the ball. Dr Stern and the wound care team made it happen for me. Grace from PT , I rank her #1. I really enjoyed the whole process. I almost forgot Dietary, the food was great. Kudos to the Administration team for being involved during my recovery. Justin, Daphne, Linda, keep up the amazing work that you are doing for your patients and their families.

Please don’t leave your loved ones here. The nurses are very rude, won’t answer questions, act like you are putting them out for even a clean towel. This place is absolutely filthy. See pictures mold growing in bath, no fresh towels. No one helped my husband bathe at all. I had to do it. The food is inappropriate and disgusting.

My wife was admitted to Kindred the week before New Year 2024. It is a nerve wrecking process due to the nature of the medical unknowns from my wife’s critical condition, insurance hurdles, new physicians/health care personnel and the facility itself. I did my due diligence with on-line research, and visited the Kindred Hospital location in Hollywood where the COO, Justin Wagner took it upon himself to meet with me without an appointment, and then gave a tour late that day of the facility. It did not take long for me to make a decision after meeting Justin because it felt comfortable, welcoming and safe for my wife. Kindred in Hollywood made the daunting task of transitioning from the hospital location to their facility effortless. It has been almost a month here at Kindred Hollywood and the experience alone for my wife has been exceptional. Timely responses, professionalism and most importantly the competence has been advantageous benefiting my wife tremendously. The thoroughness examination and precise decision making by two physicians at Kindred Hollywood immediately helped my wife with her health condition. The collaboration from admin, support staff, nurses, and physicians was evident in the high-quality patient care received by my wife. Accessibility to information, aid in multiple forms, attentiveness to differences in patient’s needs and delivering precision medicine has been a constant experience at Kindred Hospital in Hollywood. More importantly, there’s compassion shared from everyone I have been fortunate to meet at this establishment. I felt they treated my wife more than just a patient, and that is more than enough sometimes for families experiencing emotional trauma due to medical uncertainties. Credit where credit’s due, Justin and his entire team do care about their patients, and I trust them enough to endorse their establishment.

Our time at Kindred has been great. Having come from a hospital that didn’t necessarily put their patients first, it was so alleviating to come to a facility that wants their patients to succeed. The nurses, doctors and staff have been wonderful in trying to help my dad improve given the condition he came in with. Linda, the patient advocate at the hospital, has been an absolute lifesaver during our father's stay. Her dedication to ensuring his well-being and our peace of mind is truly commendable. Linda goes above and beyond, addressing our concerns promptly and ensuring that everything runs smoothly. Her compassion and expertise have made a challenging time much more manageable for our family. We are immensely grateful for her support and guidance throughout this journey. Linda's exceptional care and commitment have undoubtedly made a significant difference in our father's recovery process. Daphne, the infectious disease specialist, has also been wonderful to work with. She has done everything to make sure my dad isn’t put at risk of any additional sickness while he’s bedridden. She makes sure we’re updated about his condition and answers any questions or doubts we might have to help us rest assured that he’s doing well. Her care and concern mean a lot to us. Frank, the director of respiratory, we can’t be more thankful for. He has done everything in his power to get my dad liberated from the vent and slowly but surely we are seeing progress. His patience and dedication to helping my dad try and become more independent are commendable. Along with the respiratory therapist Carlene, they are great in watching over my dad and monitoring his progress. Overall, I cannot thank everyone here enough. Names mentioned and unmentioned, everyone has been great and I would recommend this facility to anyone seeking care for a loved one.

I am ready for rehab. Kindred Hollywood staff has been amazing. Let start with PT... THEY WERE WONDERFUL. The team was very supportive, Grace pushed me to get better and do better. Forever grateful. The food was good. My patient advocate Linda. She really kept my morale up. She was very funny with an unmatched dedication to her patients. It's a 10/10 for me all across the board.
